About Team In Training
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training program (TNT) is the largest endurance sports training program in the world. Since 1988, when the first team of TNT marathoners was formed, the program has helped 380,000 people—more than 39,000 participants annually—achieve their dream of completing a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, hike or 100 mile century bicycle ride. Since its inception, TNT participants have raised over $900 million on behalf of LLS. In exchange for raising funds, participants receive four to five months of personalized fitness training by certified coaches, a supportive group of teammates and accommodations and airfare to the event of their choice.
Who is the Westside LA TNT Marathon Team?
Team in Training is a national organization, comprised of smaller regional chapters. We are part of the Greater LA Chapter, but even within that chapter, it is comprised of many teams – marathon, cycle, triathlon, and Iron Man. You are looking at a website for the marathon team, specific to the summer season, spanning from February to late June. From now on, this site will continue on for the summer & winter cycles. If you’re looking for the spring & fall cycles of the team (they do Los Angeles, New Orleans, Nike Women’s Marathons and more), you can find them here – http://westsidetnt.com – they are a great fun bunch too! Soon we will have photos and lists of our coaches, support staff, and participants for you to learn everyone’s names!
