Mayor’s Marathoners and Seattle Rock ‘n’ Rollers Recommitment is here and we want to celebrate with you. Join your campaign manager, coaches, captains, mentors and San Diego Rock ‘n’ Rollers by handing in your recommitment paper work. What better way to do it than at a party to celebrate your accomplishment. Its also a great time to ask any last minute questions you might have.

The party begins at March 31st 7:00 p.m. and goes until the last team member leaves; so don’t worry if you can’t make it right at 7:00. If you have any questions about the party ask one of us on Sunday at practice. But don’t miss it as the San Diego Recommitment Party was a blast. And, just so we can have everyone attend we’ve cancelled all the mentor runs for that evening so get your running in that morning.

San Diego Recommitment Party

This is a friendly reminder that the Recommitment for the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and Half-Marathon is TONIGHT! (If you’re on the Team, you should have recieved the evite e-mail.) We want to celebrate your decision to recommit to the Team. You should have received your paperwork in the mail and all that’s left is for you to fill it out and turn it in. This is a great opportunity to turn in your completed paperwork or to ask Kristen any questions you might have.

For those running Alaska and Seattle this Party is for you too!!!! It’s a great chance to hang out with your teammates.

And, what’s better than running, eating, drinking, hanging out with friends and teammates and recommitting yourselves to saving lives one mile at a time.

The eating, drinking, hanging out, and recommitting starts and 6:30 and runs until you’ve had enough.

As for the running part . . . Your fabulous mentors and captains have rescheduled their training runs to begin and end at Sonny McLean’s. So if you want to get in your training run wear (or bring) your running clothes and sneakers. We will have runs leaving Sonny’s at 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30. And, then when you get back we can eat, drink and be merry!!!!

Also, Top to Top is right next door to Sonny’s and offers Team in Training participants a discount so if you need new gear its a great opportunity to pick something up.

If you have any questions about the Party don’t be afraid to ask us. We’d love to see all of you there and to celebrate with you.
