Last Sunday, we ran up to 15 miles (8 miles for the half marathoners), from Shutters to the Venice Jetty, then back up Ocean to 20th and back. It was a very hot day in Santa Monica, so some of us took a dip in the water not only to cool down, but to simulate an ice bath to help our muscles.
