We’re pretty sure you won’t get lost in a marathon, but check out this funny video about a runner who took a little pit stop.

A few weeks ago, I posted about “Running 50k to Raise 50k”. The time has come, and the event is happening now. Steve Chaparro, of the OC TNT team, is running at The Block in Orange, running 50k on a treadmill to help him raise $50,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. If you are near The Block, or know of anyone near there, please check out the event. If you can’t make it, you can view the live feed on Doxasports.com.

I bet you’re wondering why we promote other team’s events on here. Remember, all the fundraising happening throughout the nation all go to the same cause, benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We’re all one family here, and anything we can do to help, we would be happy to help spread the word! If you have any events, let us know. We want to let everyone know all the good things Team in Training is bringing to the table! Go TEAM!

You’ve all come so far, and we continue to say how proud we are of you. Here’s a motivational commercial with marathoner Kara Goucher about believing – believing in yourself, believing in your run. Below is her interview before she takes on the Boston Marathon, and even though she’s an elite athlete, she still feels a little nervous, so if you are, it’s quite normal. Everyone, we mean everyone, will have the same feelings.

Here’s a very heartfelt video by a Westside LA TNT (Spring) participant and a very talented musical artist, Kina Grannis, who trained for the SF Nike Women’s Marathon. The music in the video is original, and is written by Kina and Alissa Moreno. The video captures so much emotion, I gotta say, I had to hold back the tears… ok, ok, there were some waterfalls.

It’s no secret that you’ll have a little wobbly walk the day after your big event. Here’s a funny video of what to expect! Some of you might be like this after a long run on Sundays too. Hey! Don’t let that discourage you… you’ve come this far and you’re ALL doing amazing! Keep up the good work and you’re almost there!!
