Welcome to another great season of Team in Training’s Westside LA Marathon team! Week 1’s practice was very successful, with everyone running/walking 3 miles. For some, it was their longest distance covered. Wasn’t too bad right? We ended practice with some bagels and juice. As always, it was great to meet new friends! Hope you all had fun!

Winter Kickoff was at the Culver City Senior Center this season, where all of the Greater LA teams (marathon, triathlon, hike) come together to show new and potential participants what Team in Training is all about.

Before the official start of the season, your Winter 09 staff planned a 5k Fun Run in Santa Monica, where we met at our usual morning spot, then ran north to Ocean and San Vicente.
